This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy and terms of use for access or usage of the WizardCA website at www.wizardca.com, including the related mobile site and mobile application (together referred to as the Platform).
The Platform is owned and operated by Wizard CA Academy Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India, Hyderabad, Telangana (referred to as WizardCA, Platform Owner, we, us, or our). The Platform technology is built and provided by KDS AI Innovations, a technology provider engaged by the Platform Owner.
Your use of the Platform and our services and tools is governed by these terms and conditions (the Terms of Use), including the policies that are incorporated here by reference, namely the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the Shipping and Delivery Policy, the Return and Exchange Policy, and the Disclaimer. By accessing, browsing, registering for, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the incorporated policies, which together form a binding agreement between you and the Platform Owner. Any terms proposed by you that are in addition to or conflict with these Terms of Use are expressly rejected and have no force or effect.
We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. It is your responsibility to review them periodically to stay informed of updates. Your continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms of Use.
1.1 Definitions
- Content means all material made available on the Platform, including text, study material, questions, answers, explanations, notes, audio, video, images, graphics, design, layout and software.
- AI Features means features of the Platform that use artificial intelligence, machine learning or similar technologies to generate, summarise, evaluate, recommend or explain content, including generated questions, answers, explanations, audio explanations and study aids.
- Services means the Platform and all content, features, tools and subscriptions offered through it.
- User, you or your means any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the Platform.
1.2 Eligibility, accounts and minors
To create an account and use the Services, you must be capable of forming a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information during and after registration, to keep it updated, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs through your registered account.
Users under the age of 18.The Services are intended for use by adults. A person who is below the age of 18 years (a minor) may use the Services only under the supervision of, and with the verifiable consent of, a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms of Use on the minor's behalf and remains responsible for the minor's use of the Services. By allowing a minor to use the Services, the parent or guardian accepts these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. We process the personal data of a minor only in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as described in the Privacy Policy.
1.3 Description of the Services
WizardCA is an education technology platform that provides learning and practice tools. Depending on your plan, the Services may include study material and notes, practice questions and mock assessments, automated evaluation and progress tracking, bookmarking and revision tools, personal notes, analytics, and AI Features such as generated questions, written and audio explanations, summaries and study recommendations. The Services are provided for general learning and self study only.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features, content or plans at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular content, question, subject, feature or plan will always be available.
1.4 Use of artificial intelligence and important AI disclaimer
Artificial intelligence can make mistakes. Parts of the Services use artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate and present content. AI generated content, including questions, answers, explanations, audio explanations, summaries and recommendations, may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading or wrong, and may occasionally produce content that sounds confident but is not correct (sometimes called a hallucination). You must not rely on AI generated content as a sole or authoritative source. Always verify important information against the official syllabus, prescribed textbooks, official publications and other authoritative sources, and use your own judgement.
By using the AI Features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- the AI Features are provided to assist your learning and are not a substitute for qualified teachers, official study material, or professional advice;
- we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness or suitability of any AI generated content, and such content may contain errors or omissions;
- the same prompt or question may produce different results at different times, and AI generated content may not reflect the most recent changes to a syllabus, law, standard or examination pattern;
- you are responsible for reviewing and independently verifying any AI generated content before you rely on it, including for any examination, assignment, decision or other purpose;
- you will not use the AI Features to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or that violates these Terms of Use, and you will not attempt to manipulate or misuse the AI Features to produce such content;
- We may use, store and process the text and other inputs you provide to the AI Features in order to operate and improve the Services, as described in the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, AI generated content.
1.5 Educational purpose and no professional advice
The Services and all content are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional, legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, medical, career or other advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified professional. We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, examination result, score, rank, certification, admission, employment or other result. Your results depend on many factors that are outside our control, including your own effort and the decisions of examination and certifying bodies.
1.6 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials. You must not share, sell, transfer or allow others to use your account.
1.7 Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You agree not to:
- use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful, illegal or forbidden by these Terms of Use, or by any law that applies to you;
- copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, resell, rent, sub license or commercially exploit any part of the Content or the Services, except as expressly permitted;
- download, scrape, harvest or extract Content or data from the Platform by automated or manual means, or use the Content to build or train any product, dataset or model;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Platform, or circumvent any security or access control;
- upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harmful, or that contains a virus or other harmful code;
- interfere with or disrupt the Platform, its servers or networks, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or other accounts;
- impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation, or provide false information; or
- use the Services in a manner that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person.
Unauthorised use of the Platform or the Services may lead to action against you under these Terms of Use and applicable law.
1.8 User content and feedback
You may be able to create or submit content such as personal notes, responses, questions and feedback (User Content). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce and use your User Content to the extent necessary to operate, provide and improve the Services. You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate any law or the rights of any person. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you agree that we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
1.9 Subscriptions, fees and payments
Certain Services are offered on a paid basis, including one time purchases and recurring subscriptions. The applicable prices, plan features, billing cycle and any free trial are described on the Platform at the time of purchase. You agree to pay all charges associated with the Services you select, together with applicable taxes.
- Auto renewal. Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel auto renewal at any time from your account settings or app store subscription settings, as applicable.
- Free trials. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. Only one trial may be available per user.
- Payments. Payments are processed by third party payment processors and, where you subscribe through a mobile app store, by that app store. Your use of a payment method is also subject to the terms of the relevant payment processor or app store.
- Changes to pricing. We may change prices and plans. Changes do not affect a billing cycle already paid for and will apply from the next renewal.

1.10 Intellectual property
The Content and the Services are owned by or licensed to the Platform Owner and are protected by intellectual property laws. This includes, without limitation, the design, layout, look, graphics, text, study material, questions, explanations, audio, software and the WizardCA name and logo. You are granted a limited, personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content for your own learning, subject to these Terms of Use. You acquire no right, title or interest in the Content other than this limited licence, and you must not claim any such right.
1.11 Third party services and links
The Platform may use third party services and may contain links to third party websites and resources, including payment processors, cloud and hosting providers, analytics providers and providers of artificial intelligence services. When you access a third party service or link, you are governed by that third party's terms and privacy policy. We do not control and are not responsible for third party services, their content or their practices, and we encourage you to review their terms before using them.
1.12 Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Services available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free access. The Services may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, technical issues or events beyond our control. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability to you.
1.13 Disclaimer of warranties
The Services and all Content, including AI generated content, are provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Neither we nor any third party provides any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the Content or the Services for any purpose. You acknowledge that the Content may contain inaccuracies or errors, and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your use of the Services and the Platform is solely and entirely at your own risk and discretion, and you are responsible for independently assessing whether the Services meet your requirements.
1.14 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform Owner and its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, opportunity, results or examination outcomes, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Services, whether based on contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
1.15 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform Owner, its affiliates and group companies, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees, from any claim, demand or action, including reasonable legal fees and any penalty imposed, arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy or any other policy, your violation of any law, rule or regulation, or your violation of the rights of any third party, including infringement of intellectual property rights.
1.16 Force majeure
Notwithstanding anything in these Terms of Use, the parties will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation if the failure or delay is caused by an event beyond their reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, government action, failure of telecommunications or internet services, power failures, or strikes.
1.17 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms of Use or applicable law, or to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and you must stop using the Content. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, will survive.
1.18 Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use, and any dispute or claim relating to them or their enforceability, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any right you have under applicable consumer law, all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
1.19 Grievance redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, the contact details of the Grievance Officer are provided below. The Grievance Officer can be contacted for any complaint or concern regarding the Services or any content on the Platform.

1.20 Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will give you notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.
